How do I customize my message template?

When creating an Appointfix account, by default, we create three message templates: Instant Booking Notification, Reminder, and Follow-up.


To update a particular template, open Appointfix and go to Menu → Settings → Messages → Tap on a message → Template.


You can change the Sending times, Template, Date & Time format or mark the template as default for your appointments.


*Note: On the Basic subscription, you can use only one default template. Upgrade to Premium or Ultimate to use multiple message templates as default.


Also, by marking the template as the default, the message will be automatically filled into the new appointments.


The message template’s length is dynamic and depends on the text and dynamic fields you’re using. The standard size of a text message is 160 characters, but using Unicode characters (Emojis or non-Latin characters) will decrease this length to 70 characters only, thus consuming more text messages to send the reminder.
