How to start using Appointfix

New to Appointfix? This guide will walk you through the basic steps of appointment scheduling.

1. Start by setting your services

To create a new service, go to Menu (☰)  → Services → tap on the “+” button.

To quickstart, simply set the name of the service, for example, “Hair washing”, the price of the service, and the service duration.
We recommend assigning colors to your services so that when you’ll check your calendar, you’ll see at a glance what type of services your upcoming appointments include.

If you want to dive into the advanced settings, check out our Help Center info related to “Services”.

2. Create your first appointment

To create a new appointment, tap on your preferred time slot in the calendar.

Add the client, select the desired services, and you’re all set! Your first appointment has been created.

If you want to learn more about editing, deleting, or creating recurring appointments, check out our Help Center guides.

3. Set up appointment reminders

To update your reminder templates, go to Menu (☰) → Settings → Messages → Tap on a message → Template.

You can change the Sending Times, the Message Template, and the Date & Time Format to choose between the 12 hour or 24 hour format.

The message template’s length is dynamic and depends on the text and dynamic fields you’re using.

If you want to go the extra mile, read more about how to set other message reminders, based on the message’s purpose.

4. Set up your online booking page

An online booking page is a web page where clients can book appointments online with you, themselves, 24/7.

To edit your online booking page details, go to the Menu (☰) → Settings → Online Booking.

Edit your business details: name, description, and address; add a logo and a representative business picture, and set your opening and closing business hours.
‎Voilà! This is how your online booking page could look like after you’ve set it up, personalized for your business, of course.

Don’t forget to set your “Booking acceptance”, “Calendar availability”, “Booking policy” and “Cancellation policy”.

You can read more about these options in our detailed guide on how to set up your online booking system.
