Yes, you can. Just go to Menu → Marketing → Mass message, and then enter your message. It can be a business update (e.g., when you go on holidays), a special deal, or anything else you want.
Then you need to select the recipients:
- All clients
- Clients who had an appointment in the past (select an interval in days, weeks, months, or years)
- Clients who have an appointment in the future (select an interval in days, weeks, months, or years)
The Marketing feature is only available for users with the Premium or Ultimate plans.
Under the Premium plan, the messages are sent via your device and mobile carrier. Therefore, your phone or tablet must have text messaging capabilities and an active mobile subscription. Messages will come out of your mobile phone plan, with no extra charges from us. Some devices and mobile carriers have certain limits on the number of people you can send a text message to. So we will divide your client list into groups of 100 or 10 people, and you’ll need to tap Send for each group. If your message isn’t successfully sent, please lower the size of the group from 100 to 10 people from the Mass message screen. Under the Premium plan, the text messages come from your phone number and your clients can reply to you directly.
Under the Ultimate plan, you can opt to send the messages via our system, or if you prefer, you can send them via your device and mobile carrier. Appointfix Ultimate uses a robust SMS delivery system with a nearly 100% successful delivery rate. As an Ultimate subscriber, you get 500 messages FREE each month. If you use them up, you can buy extra messages from 50 messages ($4.99) up to 500 ($34.99). Unused extra messages are carried over to the next monthly usage cycle, after which they will expire. Under the Ultimate plan, the text messages come from a generic phone number. Clients can reply to that number, and the messages will be redirected to your phone number. Depending on the length of your message and the length of your client’s reply, a certain number of messages will be consumed out of your monthly message quota. Client replies are currently available in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Romania, Ireland, Puerto Rico, Sweden, and South Africa.
