Frequently asked questions

  1. Find the payments integration in the left menu bar of your app. To activate it, go to Menu > Payments > Tap on the “Set up payment processing” button.

  2. Your device’s browser will open, and you will be prompted to set up an account with Stripe. Once the account is set up, you will receive an email confirmation.

  3. After the payment processing is enabled, the “Set up payment processing” button will be replaced by a “Balance” button. The “Balance” button will open the Stripe dashboard, where you’ll see the deposits/payments received.

Businesses located in participating countries who subscribe to our Ultimate plan are able to accept payments with Appointfix. Check below of click here to see if it’s available in your country.

If you’re not on our Ultimate plan, you can switch plans in your app.

Payments taken through Appointfix are processed by Stripe, which supports several card brands, from large global networks like Visa and Mastercard to local networks like Cartes Bancaires in France.

With Appointfix, you can begin accepting a diversity of card brands without any additional configurations, including: 

  • American Express 
  • Mastercard 
  • Visa 
  • Discover & Diners 
  • Japan Credit Bureau (JCB) 
  • China UnionPay (CUP) 

Some card brands require additional configuration, such as Cartes Bancaires.

Make it easy for your clients to send payments. You can choose to process payments via three payment methods:

  • Send payment link to the client (the client will receive a link and can pay online)
  • “Cash – collect cash from your client and record the transaction in Appointfix”

Yes – and accepting deposits is the best way to protect your business against no-shows. Requiring a deposit when a client books an appointment ensures you’ll still get paid some amount no matter what.


You can choose what portion of the total service cost is required as a deposit at booking.

Processing payments via Appointfix requires setting up a Stripe account. Once you’ve collected payments, you can transfer those funds from your Stripe account to your personal/business bank account.
